Controlled Opposition or Infighting Among "Health Freedom" fighters? Part 2
Can we tame our egos, put our differences aside and fight for each other, for freedom for all of us, not just a few?
As I mentioned in Part 1, intelligent, critical thinkers are going to disagree on many things. We are good at asking questions and at criticizing, so our challenge is to learn how to get along with each other, to cooperate, in spite of our differences. But the question is, can we do that?
The latest spat between “freedom” fighters occurs between Reiner Fuellmich and Viviane Fisher of the Corona Investigative Committee. I’ve watched testimony given by both Fisher and Fuellmich and will leave links to the videos below, so that you can see it for yourselves. According to Fisher, Fuellmich took money from the committee as compensation for his services but without permission from the rest of the committee. Fuellmich’s response was to attack Fisher personally, to make fun of the way she dresses and to insult her. He admits to taking money from the committee but says it was a different amount than she claims.
Wow.
When I first watched Fisher's testimony, I thought she must be wrong because I had a perception of Fuellmich as being some sort of freedom fighter. But when Fuellmich forages personal attacks on Fisher and admits he took the money, though he says it was a smaller amount than she stated,...
well,…
It looks like he's guilty as charged, quite frankly.
Similarly, I watched the interviews that same committee had done with Dr. Peter Breggin and Dr. Mattias Desmet, both of whom I admire. In the same way, I was amazed by how Dr. Breggin—who has done excellent and commendable work in advocating for the mentally ill—began foraging personal attacks on Dr. Desmet.
I listened to both Breggin’s testimony and Desmet’s testimony, and honestly, they both raised good points. We do need to be careful of blaming the victim. We do need to acknowledge that conspiracies exist. I do believe a very sinister, diabolical conspiracy is currently taking place and that many people are being victimized by it. Even the Covidian cultists who are mindless enough to be taking boosters after suffering terrible side effects from the shots are victims. They don’t realize it, but they are contributing to their own demise.
But I also think that Desmet raises good points. Victims do sometimes participate in their own victimization. Many people are choosing to take the shots, even after they’ve suffered health-threatening side effects. They are also encouraging their kids to take the shots. I know such people. They are complicit in their own demise. No one is forcing them to take the injections or to wear masks. At this point, they are choosing to do these things, and that is disturbing, to say the least. This is not blaming the victim. No, not at all!
Mainstream media sources are lying to them. Doctors and nurses are lying to them. That’s a terrible thing, and I’d love to see all those media and medical professionals who are murdering innocent people in prison for life!
But the fact remains that many people are playing along when they do not have to. I know many such people, and I’m sure you do too. They are not being forced by employers. They do have choices. Some of them could choose to quit their jobs or sue their employers and find work elsewhere but they choose not to. Why? Why are people so passive and complacent? Why are they so afraid to stand up for what they believe in? What is it about our society that has made people so passive? So fearful? So dependent on authority figures to tell them what to do?
Why are people so prone to being manipulated?
Why are people so afraid and so in need of safety and protection from Big Brother?
Can we ask these questions and look at ways we can make changes in our society and how we interact with each other to make people less vulnerable to brainwashing and manipulation?
I myself have been homeless before and was in great danger of becoming homeless again when my employers became totalitarianists, and I would not comply. What gave me this courage when people with more resources and financial advantages than I had did not have it? Why was I able to do what they were not able to do?
Did they trust in authority figures? American exceptionalism? Or that elusive American dream? Were they/Are they afraid of losing their status in society?
I risked a lot and, frankly, found this “health freedom” movement disappointing in its lack of reaching out to those of us who have taken the risk. More people will lose their jobs. We must come together and work together to address that issue now.
It is too easy to point the finger at people like Klaus Schwab, Bill Gates, Big Pharma, etc., and to neglect how we have been complicit by remaining apathetic, silent, and contributing to their corrupt system by going along with it.
The “battered woman” who defends her husband after he attempts to beat her to death is not to blame for being victimized. However, to the extent that she defends him and tries to stop the police or anyone else from helping her, she is participating in her own demise.
Again, I’m not blaming the victim or advocating blaming the victim. But I am noticing that victims sometimes defend their perpetrators and participate in their own victimization. It’s called “Stockholm Syndrome.” In fact, I see myself as a women’s rights activist, so I tend to be critical of folks who blame women who are victims of violence. But that doesn’t mean that women are powerless to fight back. I do think that women should learn self defense strategies and learn to stand up for ourselves—not because women are to blame for being victimized but because I think that women need to be empowered so that we can stop the violence. Women are victims of violence because we are socialized to be passive—nurturing and caring for others, even when it means we are neglecting ourselves and our own needs.
However, if we don’t look inside ourselves and find ways that we have allowed this tyranny then we are powerless and will never defeat it.
To save the world, we need to realize that it is our world and that only we can save it, not some hero, celebrity or guru. We the people need to stand up and stop this tyranny. Yes, I know it’s not easy, but it is possible. Just because something is difficult to do doesn’t mean it’s impossible. There is no quick fix, no easy solution, for this terrible time we are living in. This will take a lot of effort on our part. That is why we must not isolate ourselves. We need to work together on this. Otherwise, all is lost.
